Glen Canyon Dam

Glen Canyon dam is near Page Arizona and holds back the tourist popular Lake Powel. The dam’s power plant generates 6% of the electricity used by Arizona and 13% used by Utah. Lake Powel is known for its beautiful scenery and many little waterways you can explore via small boat, jet ski, canoe or kayak.
