The Moki Dugway is a wild road near Mexican Hat New Mexico. The road zig zags up an 1,100 foot cliff. The road is gravel but well graded. It has no gaurd rails and very sharp turns. The perfect road to take a sport bike on. I got some funny looks from passing motorists who look petrafied in their 4 wheeled vehicles.
The Road was constructed in 1958 by Texas Zinc, a mining company, to transport uranium ore from the "Happy Jack" mine in Fry Canyon, UT. to the processing mill in Mexican Hat.
