Grand Canyon North Rim

The North Rim of the Grand Canyon is a ways out of the way so it’s less populated and less touristy. It was a pretty wild ride from Lake Powel to The North Rim. The scenery changes drastically as does the climate and elevation. Page Arizona is at 4,118 feet above sea level. The North Rim of the Grand Canyon is 8,800 feet above sea level and only a 3 hour ride from one to the other. The North Rim is a place you would go with your significant other and stay in one of the cabins that are nearly on the rims edge and spend a good deal of time learning and exploring the area. The North Rim has an amazing lodge perched on the edge of the canyon and when sitting on the outdoor patio or in the great room of the lodge this is evident. I certainly plan to go back in the future.
