Yellowstone National Park in western Wyoming needs no introduction. It was surprisingly cold there. I came into the park from the East via Cody Wyoming and once in the park the road goes up a mountain to over 8,000 feet. It was early in the morning and cold, I’m guessing mid 40’s which usually isn’t cold to me but I didn’t have the right gear on. Once I got down to lower elevation the park was more enjoyable. I do plan to go back someday and do some more exploring. I did get to see a lot of great things for only being there for one day.
