Northern Nevada Railroad Museum

I love big machines and you can’t get much bigger than locomotives. Its impressive people were constructing these heavy machines near the turn of the century without the benefit of hydraulic lifts and cranes. The best part of this museum is it allows you full access to the engine house where they repair and store some of the large locomotives. You can freely walk around and see the large milling machines used to make the pieces to repair the locomotives and the locomotives themselves. Very cool.
